Cultural seasons


Every year, as part of the Major Seasons events, France offers partner countries the opportunity to present the wealth and diversity of their cultural, scientific and economic life to the French public.
French seasons abroad, designed as multidisciplinary showcases for France, also offer genuinely good opportunities.
These major events are the fruit of bilateral diplomatic undertakings and decisions taken at the highest level by Heads of State. They are implemented by Culturesfrance under the supervisory authority of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Communication, on the strength of robust partnerships established with many operators and institutions, as well as with local authorities and companies.


Þ 2010: France-Russia Year

In the context of three centuries of flourishing intellectual and artistic exchanges, to the mutual enrichment of French and Russian society, a France-Russia year will be held in 2010.
