Varied aesthetics and updated forms: the French artistic offer in terms of both classical and contemporary dance brings in requests commensurate with the very large number of companies.

While maintaining its operations in certain regions of the world (Latin America, Central Europe…), Culturesfrance’s priority commitment is to ensure the presence of the companies at the festivals and venues of international renown. Two programmes correspond closely to this objective. On the one hand, "FranceDanse Europe" (launched in Belgium in March 2007) which proposes to a partner or a group of partners in a town or country of the European Union to create a "Key Moment" in French dance and, on the other hand, the "Dansasia" programme (2007-2010), which supports dissemination and co-operation in a dozen Asian countries with very different cultural and choreographic environments.

In addition, Culturesfrance is keen to develop educational and co-operative projects with foreign structures. With the "Conservatoires itinérants" for classical, contemporary and hip-hop music, Culturesfrance passes on and shares French "savoir-faire"…
